I have lived in Nanjing since I was born. I love this city because of the four unique seasons. Among the four seasons, I love summer best. Though it is very hot, sometimes over 38℃, we can enjoy the wandering under the tall and almost 50-year-old trees ,cool breeze from the shade above our head. In Nanjing’summer, it often rains heavily when you cannot bear the heat. In summer holiday, we can go to many places of interest to have fun. For example, I love to go to Xuanwu Lake Park to go boating on the lake and watch the yellow or red lotuses. If we are lucky enough, we can see fish swim around quickly. When we are tired, we often go to the underground station to enjoy free cool air. At night, we can go to the Confucius Temple to enjoy some Nanjing snacks and colourful lights there.
