一、a little 和a few　都有“有一些，有一点”的意思，表示肯定，但它们的用法不同。
1、a little 修饰不可数名词，此时可也 a bit of 互换，也可修饰形容词或副词，此时与a bit 互换。
如：
1). He can speak a little English.
= He can speak a bit of English.
他会说一点英语。
2). She feels a little tired today .
= She feels a bit tired today .
他今天感到有点累。
2、a few 修饰可数名词复数,与 some , seveal 同义。
如：
1). I have a few friends from America .
= I have some friends from America .
= I have several friends from America.
我有几个来自美国的朋友。
二、 little 和few 都有“几乎没有”的意思，表示否定，但它们的用法也不同。
1、little 修饰不可数名词。
如：
1). There is little water in the bottle .
瓶子里几乎没有水。
2).There is little rice at home .Let's go and buy some .
家里几乎没有米了。咱们去买点吧。
2、few修饰可数名词复数。
如：
1). He is new here and he has few friends here .
他是新来的，他这里几乎没有朋友。
2). The maths problem is so difficult that few students can work it out .
这道数学题如此难，几乎没有学生能解答出来。
