OK,lets take this out of a professional level sport and put it into an adult league situation.you have a team that is ok and having fun...then the team does pretty good.the next year the team replaces a player that moved with a better player and the team does better the 2nd year and fun is still in the game..then the manager of the team replaces 3 pretty good players with ringers.they do better but to the manager 2nd is the 1st looser.the fun is gone,the ringers don't stick around to party afterward,3 people got kicked off a team just for the win.the manager lost at least 1 friend and wont win anyway.winning isn't everything.
　　I'm a pretty good athlete in several different sports.I'd rather have fun for1 day than compete for many days.I am who and what i am no matter how important winning has become...even if i'm good enough to be the winner.(think bode miller here)
