everyone 每个人，单数，这种情况下用his。
类似的情况，each student has his own dictionary.每个学生都。有自己的字典。追答男女不明确就用his，这个问题讨论的挺多的。综合来看their还是可以用的，很老的英式有，像莎士比亚。可以百度everyone和his，their搭配。

当泛指一个人的时候，就跟汉语里用“他”代表一个人一样，英语里用“He”代表一个人。

everyone确实跟动词单数形式，但大多数英语里都会用their/they指代它。因为英语里没有一个中性、单数、用来指代人的代词。 这里用his也是不完整的，可以说with his or her hat and coat. 不过这样就很啰嗦了。 their这里也是可以的。
