We must uphold these virtue including diligence, honesty, sympathy, courage, justice and responsibility. In my eyes diligence and responsibility are more important.

  Traditionally, we admire the virtue of plain living and hard struggle. So the importance should be placed on diligence. Meanwhile, responsibility is also on the top. To shoulder some heavy responsibilities, we must keep a style of plain living and hard struggle. A person with a sense of responsibility can never be a lazy one. In addition, responsibility means honesty and justice.

  Everyone must assume a set of responsibilities. For example, we students must take the responsibility for pursuing the academic performance. Therefore, it is wrong for many students to plant themselves in online games, an activity which seems escape them from responsibilities. Everyone must take on his own responsibilities and be devoted to his/her own position.

  Unqestionably, diligence and responsibilitiy  are most important among the six virtues for us students. And we will never succeed without them.

I recently surveyed my classmates about their views on the new English textbook. According to the survey, 80% of the students were quite satisfied with it, while 15% disliked it and 5% had no opinion. Students who liked it said the pictures with the texts were very attractive, which greatly aroused their interests in learning. Moreover, the book was very interesting, covering many hot topics and providing lots of cultural knowledge of the world. However, students who disliked it complained there were too many new words and difficult sentences, making the texts difficult to understand. In conclusion, the new English textbook has helped most students improve their English enormously.

Nowadays, star-worshiping(追星) is popular among teenagers, especially many middle school students. Thousands of fans are on fire for the handsome appearances, beautiful songs and perfect acting skills of their idols, and they imitate whatever stars do, including their clothes, hair style and hobbies. As a result, some of them forget what they should do and even spoil their study.

In my opinion, having idols is not a bad thing. However, we should make it clear who are the real “heroes”. As far as I am concerned, the real heroes are those who are making the most contributions to our society, such as teachers, doctors and scientists. As young students we should learn from them. Only in this way can we become useful men and be real popular stars in the future.

In recent years, studying abroad has been popular．Tens of thousands of Chinese students have gone to foreign countries to study．Many people are trying their best to apply to apply to go abroad.

   There are many advantages in attending schools abroad．First, students who have studied abroad can act as mediators between people of different cultures．Second, we can learn much more advanced knowledge of science and technology from foreign countries．Third, we can learn much foreign languages more quickly.

   However, there are some disadvantages．Most of the students are too young to live alone without any living experience．Besides, being far away from their home country, they may feel lonely and homesick．Also, of course, the costs are much higher there than at home．In spite of theses, advantages are more than disadvantages．In my opinion, it is advisable to attend schools abroad.

I’m a student in Senior Three. We have made a survey－“Who do you turn to when in trouble?” Here are the results.

 Most of the students will go to their classmates or friends when in trouble as they’re almost of the same age, so they have a lot in common and understand each other easily. Some students will tell their teachers or parents about their troubles and ask them for help as the teachers and parents have rich experience and love them very much. They can be trusted by these students.

Only a few students solve their problems all by themselves. They hate to talk with others and can’t get on well with others. They have few friends.

In my opinion, when in trouble we’d better ask our teachers, parent, friends or classmates for help.
