第一道题选B:关键是看后面的what与how，what是与名词相联系的，而how是与形容词或者是副词相联系，great修饰的其实是后面的名词progress，所以就选what了，而whoever与no matter who，在意思上都一样，但是前者只可以做主语，后者既可以做主语，也可以做宾语。

第二道题选A：as long as与as much as都有长达··一样··· 意思。但是much修饰的是不可数名词，而hour之前显然就有一个定冠词an（表一个）修饰。
