People often give gifts to show their love and friendship.The best gift I have ever received is a hand-made calendar. It was made by my best friend Jane. On each page of the calendar, there is a picture of Jane and me with some words written by Jane. She either tells me how she feels about our friendship or encourages me to try my best and live a happy life. Whenever I look at the calendar, I am touched by something warm, and my heart is filled with love. It is a memory of the wonderful time which I spent with my best friend in junior high school. I will keep this special gift forever.

The best gift I have received is my Ipad. It is full of
solicitude(关心，挂念）.

Before I went to Nanjing to have a plastic operation（整形手术） ,
a workmate of my mother’s came to visit me. She gave me an Ipad as
a present. I felt very surprised at that time. I have never received such an
expensive gift before. I felt very embarrassed.

The Ipad is black. There is a logo of Apple at the back of it. I soon
learned how to use it. I downloaded a lot of software and music. I listened to
music and watched films on my Ipad when I was in hospital. It brought me a lot
of happiness.

I use my Ipad to study now. I think it is more and more useful. The Ipad
is the best gift I have ever received. It means a lot to me.
