think about 考虑
举例，如果你去买东西，店员问你是否要买下来呢？可是你还没有决定。你就可以说 i will think about it, thanks anyway.

think of是说想要做什么，或者想到什么事情了
i am thinking of getting a new job.

think about表示下列意义时一般不和think of换用.
①"回想"过去的事情. eg:
We mustn't think about this matter any more.我们不许再想此事.
②"考虑"某事,某计划是否切实可行. eg:
I'll think about your suggestion and give you an answer tomorrow.
我要考虑一下你的建议,明天给你答复.

think of 记得，记起，想象， 为。。。所器重，考虑。 think about, 考虑，思考，对。。。有什么看法， 回想起，记起。 think of (about) 都可以用来表示对问题的看法或考虑某件事

think of 想起, 记起; 想念 Will you think of me after I've left? 我离开之后, 你还会记得我吗? 有…想法, 有…看法 She couldn't think of such a thing. 她简直不能想象这样的事。 对…有意见 He was highly thought of by his employer. 他为老板所器重。 考虑 She thinks of no one but herself. 她除了自己外不考虑任何人。

think about 考虑…; 捉摸… I should like to think about your suggestion before I give a definite reply. 我想先考虑一下你的建议, 然后给你一个明确的答复。 对…有(某种观点) What do you think about him? 你觉得他这个人怎么样? 回想起, 记起 She was thinking about her childhood days. 她在回忆自己的童年时代。

（两者用法一样，意思稍稍有区别，多数用think of表示想起，think about表示思考）
