最近刚好在写简爱Jane Eyre英文读后感,
做了下小结(全书好象共38章,每章都写,太冗杂,我就分了三大部分)
a little girl, a poor but aspiring girl. She was a born resister, whose parents passed away in her early age and was farmed out to her aunt’s. As a result of having no property and status in society, she had been suffering enough from the discrimination and being maltreated since infancy.
a young lady, an obscure but self-respecting lady. As she growing up, there’s a little more quiet and solemnity in her mind. The sufferings taught her to be persevering, to prize dignity and the skills she had learned made it possible for her to work as a governess at Thornfield Hall. There she made the acquaintance of that garden’s owner, Rochester, a man with warm heart despite a cold face outside. They fell in love with each other and got down to get married.
a tough woman, small in body but huge in soul. Jane expected to change the life from then on, but fate had decided otherwise: she unfortunately came to know that Rochester had already got a legal wife. Being faced with such a condition, she left without any hesitation. In the following days, though she met her cousins by accident and was living at ease, she couldn’t get rid of missing Rochester. Finally she inherited a number of legacies and after knowing Rochester’s misfortune brought by his original mad wife, she chose to stay with him forever.
