worth多用:sth be (well) worth doing.
涉及人时，可用worthy.
be worthy of doing;be worthy to do.
本题我建议用：It is worthy for him to read this book.
如果学过deserve也可以使用。需要注意的是deserve的被动形式较复杂，用时应小心。
