我不得不承认,我打得很辛苦.
Tommy,one of my best friend from America,is finally comming to Shenzhen to spend his summer holiday with my family.
I really did a lot of planning before my friend's arrival.
One of the most important thing to do is,to let him try the proper Chinese food.
A Shenzhen native who knows his food.As a Chinese food aficionado,I would show Tommy that Happy Vally Restaurant is THE right place to go to get great Chinese food all the time.
Nestled in the middle of a strip mall on Jiangnan Road in the City Center,Happy Vally Restaurant doesn't stand out and wouldn't be a place you would choose if you didn't specifically decide to go there.
But after one taste,I already know that this will be one of those staple restaurants to visit when I'm in the mood for good food.
one of my favorite dish here is the salt and pepper pork ribs,it's perfectly executed with just the right amount of flavor & crisp,but still juicy on the inside.
Other famous dishes here such as Szechuan Chicken,Ginger Scallion Chicken,the Fried Oysters,and the Sauteed Watercress are so delicious too.
In fact,it's hard not to order all of these everytime I go,but there's so much else that's good that I have to let the rest of my family do the ordering so I can try other dishes.
However,With standard Chinese restaurant decor and fluorescent lighting,we are definitely not in a fancy Chinese restaurant,but it's ok because the star here is the food.I would go so far as to say this is the best Chinese Food in the area,even in the whole town.
Well,I am really looking forward to showing my friend why Chinese food is the best in the world.
