有四种情况：

第一：如果你是在新南威尔士州、维多利亚州、南澳大利亚州、塔斯马尼亚州所读的学位是Bachelor of Nursing (pre-registration),毕业后可以直接取得澳大利亚的注册护士执照。

第二：如果在西澳大利亚州和昆士兰州读的护理学士，毕业后IELTS 7分（每部分不低于6.5）才可以取得澳大利亚的注册护士执照。

第三：如果在弗林德斯大学读的Bachelor of Nursing(Conversion Program),毕业后可以取得护理学士和注册注册护士执照。

第四：如果在其它大学读的1年制的护理专升本Bachelor of Nursing (post-registration),毕业后必须IELTS 7分、并且有在澳洲医院实习6周以上的经验取得澳大利亚的注册护士执照。目前1年制专升本后能够取得澳洲注册护士资格（毕业后无须再参加医院实习、培训或IELTS 考试）的大学有10所， 具体名单如下：

　　悉尼地区5所：澳洲天主教大学、悉尼科技大学、纽卡素大学、西悉尼大学、Avondale College

　　南澳州2所：南澳大学、Flinders大学，

　　墨尔本2所：澳洲天主教大学、Deakin大学，

　　塔斯马尼亚：塔斯马尼亚大学，
