desire与hope的区别

从语义上说，desire表示“热切的希望，强烈的愿望”，语气比较强。从语体上说，desire主要用于正式语体，在口语中较少使用。hope主要用于可能实现的事情，既可用于正式语体，又可用于非正式语体。从语法上说，及物动词desire可接名词、动词不定式、从句或宾语+ to do复合结构，而及物动词hope不能接名词或复合结构，只能接动词不定式和从句。
