We sometimes hear stories of people of being successful by taking risks.Admittedly, people nowadays tend to regard such behavior as an effecient way of achieving success.As far as I can see, however, nothing can be more realistic and direct than following a clear and careful plan if we want to reach our goals.
To be honest, taking risks can sometimes make some difference in our life.
However, on the other hand, the behavior of taking risks can lead to a higher chance of failure.Whether an adventure would lead to a successful outcome does not depend on people themselves, but on the situations they are in.Always hoping to be successful by being an opportunitist is not what a wise person would do.Some businessmen ,for instance, even lose all what they have due to being adventurous but without an intelligent plan.
Further, despite the fact that taking risks might bring us some temporory achievement, a permanent success would never be reached without making a clear plan and striving towards it.Moving forward step by step is the most effective access to our objectives.In the case of Thomas Edison, the well-known American inventor, he tried thousands of times to determine the suitable material for a light bulb and his final success proved that his effort was not a waste.Obviously, his achievement was not the result of luck.This certainly suggests that taking risks is definitely not a must for being successful, whereas the opportunitists were never remembered by the world.
Taken together, there is seldom a short cut to a great success in the world.On the contrary, making a list of plans and spending time and effort to excute our tasks would never be a wrong method to make our dreams come true.
