itwasnotuntil和itwasuntil的区别

it was not until 的意思是直到.....才.....可是后面的 it was until 是啥意思，按照意思来翻译难道不也是 --直到.......才.....的意思吗？？
2者有区别吗？还是一个意思来着？

it was not until , it was until 都用于强调句结构，如
1 He didn't come until 8:00---------------It was not until 8:00 that he came(他直到八点才来)
2 He waited until / till 8:00 un the evening.----------It was till / until 8:00 that he waited（他一直等到八点）

it was not until not后加状态，until后加时间点。例：it was not hot until 10 o'clock. it was until until后加时间点然后再加状态。it was until 10 o'clock that it was hot.

意思一样，it was until 后接非延续性动词。it was not until 后接延续性动词。
