Cinderella 从法文Cendrillone 演变而来

法文中 Cendrillone 的意思是小灰尘/灰烬

通常是壁炉内烧木头剩下的...

灰姑娘每天弄得灰头土脸的打扫, 所以坏姊姊们就戏称她为 Cinderella...

(原著中是这样写的, 但是迪士尼的卡通省略了这一点....)
