even though和though的区别

even though和though的区别

意思都是让步，可以互相代用，不同的是 even 加强了让步的语气。如果说  though 的意思是虽然或尽管，那么 even though 就相当于汉语的即使、纵然、  哪怕。例如：

Though he was getting angry, his voice remained level. 尽管他非常生气, 他的声音仍保持稳定。
He's the best teacher though he has the least experience. 尽管他经验最少, 但教得最好。
Bob always enjoys sailing, even though the weather is cloudy. 鲍勃总是很喜欢航行, 即使空中乌云密布。
I couldn't go any faster, even though the car behind was gaining on us. 哪怕是后面的汽车越来越逼近我们, 我也没法开得更快了。

还有一点是 though 可以用作副词，这种情况不能用 even though 替换。例如：

It's hard work, I enjoy it, though. 这是件艰难的工作, 可是我还是喜欢它。
I wish you had told me, though. 话虽这样说, 你告诉我就好了。
