As far as lake is concerned, I would like to describe the East Lake. It locates in Wuchang. And the area is about 330,000 square meters. It is also called the lake with 99 curves. It has lucid water, and around the lake, there’re lots of chinar trees, bushes. And there’re also lots of flowers, such as tulips, roses and lilies. You can see many people fishing, boating and swimming there. On weekends, I often take a ride around lake. I love there, because the air is fresh, the scenery is beautiful and the environment is clean. On the lakeside, there is a cherry blossom garden. It is one of the three biggest cherry blossom gardens in the world, it is really worth visiting. In the morning elderly people like taking exercises here. So the government issues welfare for them. They can enter the lake for free in the morning. But you have to buy a ticket in the afternoon. It costs 20 yuan per person. To the east of the lake, there’s a park. On weekends parents often take their children to the park to have fun. In the middle of the park, there is a musical fountain, and there’re lots of rides in the park, like merry-go-round, roller coaster, ferris wheel, pirate’s ship and so on. If you want to take the whole view of the lake, the big ferris wheel will be the best choice.

The Wuhan Yangtze River bridge,built in 1955.It's 1.5Km in length.It has 8piers and 9 holes. The bridge is divided into two levels with the upper one for buses and cars.
And the lower for trains.
The rails on the both sides of the bridge have unique sculptures in them.There are sculptures magpie singing on blossom tree and so on.
From the bridge, you can see the rolling water run to the east(with ships coming and going)On the bank,Hubei TV Tower stands tall in Hanyang ,while the Yellow Crane Tower stands on Snake Hill in Wuchang.
Now everyday Itake a bus across the Yangtze river by this bridge. I think it's a great construction.The bridge is like a dragon sleep over the river.

the canadian pacific railway was instrumental in banff's early years, building the banff springs hotel and chateau lake louise, and attracting tourists through extensive advertising. in the early 20th century, roads were built in banff, at times by war internees, and through great depression-era public works projects. since the 1960s, park accommodations have been open all year, with annual tourism visits to banff increasing to over 5 million in the 1990s. millions more pass through the park on the trans-canada highway. as banff is one of the world's most visited national parks, the health of its ecosystem has been threatened. in the mid-1990s, parks canada responded by initiating a two-year study, which resulted in management recommendations, and new policies that aim to preserve ecological integrity.
