Jay Chou, a famous chinese singer and also a director and an actor. He is known for his distincitive style and he's a miracle of chinese pop music. He was born in January 18, 1979 and he started learning piano when he was 4. When he was 14, his parent got a divorce. After he graduate from high school, he failed to pass the college entrance exams. So he began his work in a restaurant and played piano for customers. His friend help him to signed up an entertainment show and he got the chance to sing his own song. Although he didn't win the competition but the host of the show Jacky Wu was appreciate with his serious attitude and invited him to join his company. Jay wrote songs for famous singers, but no one accept his style. JR Yang, a coworker of Jacky Wu found Jay's abbility and Jay finally have a chance to become a singer if he can compose 50 songs during 10 days. But surprisingly, Jay accomplished this goal and released his first album JAY. His music gradually become more and more popular. He is also a filial boy and his fourth album is named Ye Huimei, the name of his mother. He's also a true patriot which propose the concept of the traditional chinese style music. He always say the chinese music is the coolest and he also good at accepting elements of music from other culture in order to make his music full of diversity. He also interested in movies and directed and acted two movies. Recently he also acted in the Hollywood movie Now You See Me 2.When he was 35, he got married with Kun Ling and now has a daughter named Hathaway. He is the epitome of adolescence for the generation after 80s and 90s and he is the pride of chinese people.
