Recently celebrating Christmas has become a popular trend for younng people in China,especially those who study in colleges.
My opinion is that celebrating Christmas at the college does not have mucn significance.First of all ,as a Chinese,we already have our own traditional new year.There isn't much point in celebrating a foreign new year.Besides,most young people's moltivation to join such celebrations is to have fun or get together.But such goals can be easily reached at any time ,not just at Christmas.In fact the current Christmas fever is largely due to some businessmen or companies' idea.So I think we youths can certainly bring down the Christmass fever in the college.
