As the old saying goes: "It is never too late to learn". In our lives, we should learn new things no matter how old we are. Also, we should learn from different people in order to gain knowledge in different fields. But who can you learn more importan things from? Some people may say that it is our friends, while some other people feel that the things which our family members teach are more important. In my opinion, things taught by family members are more important.

As a common fact, since people grow up with their family and they spend their most ignorant time with their family, what family teaches people is that how be behave well at the public and help people build the view of the world which can affect people their entire life. On the other hand, however, people mostly talk about their hobbies and the latest news with their friends so that what they can learn from their friends is mostly the way other people thinks. Even a person with the slightest common sense would know that it is the view of the world which is more important in our lives and can affect our decisions and ways of thinking far more than knowing what the others thinks.

According to a research did by China Daily in 2009, when people are facing some choices which might influence their future and their whole life, 87.6% people say that the first person they have in their mind to ask his/her opinions about the choice is one of their family memebers, only a small part of people say that they would like to discuss with friends instead of family. From that we can see that people are more likely to let family to join in their lives and they prefer to take what their familly suggests and advice. From that perspective, we can see that the things learnt from family plays a more essential role in one's life instead of things learnt from friends.

Each coin has 2 sides, so that we cannot judge anything in a simple way. But after consider it carefully, I think we can safely draw the conclusion that thing taught by family is much more important than things taught by friends.
