爱迪生是美国著名的科学家和发明家，因为他有电灯、留声机、电影和蓄电池等一千多种发明成果，所以人们称他为“发明大王”、“魔术师”。
爱迪生最大的功绩是发明了电灯，然而在他的发明创造中，过程是十分曲折的，但最后他终于克服了困难，发明了电灯，为后人造福。

Edison was a famous American scientists and inventors, because he has a light, the phonograph, movies and batteries etc. More than one thousand kinds of invention, so he was called "invented" and "magic".
