第一段,not and 和 not or都一样,表达的都是对not后面的否定
第二关, 是qualities和ability都被否定了,就是没有必要的素质和能力
本人在海外留学,望采纳追问你的意思是not A and B和not A or B 其实都是对A、B全部否定吗。楼上的那位说not and 句型其实是有歧义的,你们2个有海外背景的回答不太一样,不知道你怎么看。。。追答现实中确实说not A or B, 说not A and B的情况不多,但你较真的话,肯定是和not A or B是一个意思,都是对not 后面的否定了

其实,我觉得把 not ... and 归为病句更合适。因为它们会产生歧义。如下是英语为母语的人对类似的问题的回答:
问题:
He did not speak clearly and correctly.
The film is not interesting and instructive.
Do we parse it like this: He did not speak [clearly and correctly]?
回答者1:
It's ambiguous; the circumstances may make it clearer. Logically, it just means that at least one of the two descriptions 'clear' and 'correct' was not achieved.
For clarity, though, you'd be better to say either
"He spoke clearly but not correctly" (or the other way round)
or
"He spoke neither clearly nor correctly"
回答者2:
Your two examples are slightly different in structure. Your first sentence could be rewritten as "He spoke not clearly and correctly" to match your second sentence. In that case, it could be parsed either as "...not [clearly and correctly]" or "...[not clearly] and correctly", the same way your second sentence could be parsed either as "The film is [not interesting] and instructive." or "The film is not [interesting and instructive]."
