There is a story about Eiffel Tower.
In 1911,a French tailor named Mengxi Rumsfeld,flew down on the top of the wall,wearing a bat-wing-style cloak designed by himself and with springs in it.Unfortunately,his cloak was out of control in flight and he flew to the death hell in front of a large number of viewers.He hit the ground with great force and broke down a full 30cm deep hole.Afterwards,doctors checked his body.They said that perhaps Rumsfeld had died from a heart attack before hit the ground.
I think the story is a side evidence for the height of the tower.
