On April 27， The US Hawaii parliament has passed a ban which prohibites selling and collecting shark’s fins from July 1st . The heaviest punishment of selling and collecting shark fins will be fined 35,000 to 50, 000 US dollars and will be jailed for 1 year. The ban is aim to prevent overfishing and the possible extinction of sharks. A statistic shows that there are about 89 million sharks are killed every year. Nearly one third of the shark species are tend to be extinct because of overfishing.
