本文分析了中国关帝信仰的形成过程及原因,并对受其影响的韩国关帝信仰的历史和现状进行了初步探讨.本文认为,中国的关帝信仰和韩国的关帝信仰在本质上并无差异,但其发展过程却迥然不同.中国的关帝信仰经历了先民间后官方的发展历程.它最初是一种适应实用主义需要而产生的民间信仰,但在政治和宗教因素的影响下,逐渐发展成为一种官方和民间的共同信仰.而韩国的关帝信仰则经历了先官方后民间的发展历程.韩国官方为了政治目的暂时接受了关帝信仰,主导了这一信仰在民间的传播,使之逐渐成为韩国民间的一种强烈信仰,并延续至今.

Abstract
The thesis analyzes the process of forming the Kwan Tai faith in China and reasons therefor,and generally discusses the history and status quo of the Kwan Tai faith in South Korea,which influence the development of the faith in China.The thesis holds that,the Kwan Tai faith in China and South Korea are identical in substance,whereas their developments are widely different from each other.The Kwan Tai faith in China took root among civilians and was recognized officially afterwards.Originally,the Kwan Tai faith came into being so as to meet a demand of pragmatism.Influenced by political and religion factors,the faith gradually developed into a common faith between the officials and civilians.On the contrary,the Kwan Tai faith in South Korea experienced a civilian-first-and-official-afterwards development.The Kwan Tai faith was temporally accepted by the South Korea government for some political purpose and thereafter,the Kwan Tai faith spread among civilians.As time passes,this faith took root deeply among civilians and it has continued until the present day.
