my name is maria. you can call me mimi or mims. i was born in silistra, bulgaria. my birthday is april 25 and my constellation of the zodiac is taurus. and now i am 24 years old. i went to the university of economics - varna and i graduated in 2012. my major was tourism with an economics focus and international business focus. i studied lots of different things, but basically tourism. i have done a lot of activities. for example, my second and my third year of university studies i went to work and travel program in the usa. these activities were very empowering to me and helped me apply what i learned in my classes.this major has helped me to understand the changes individuals can make in the community and in the world, and has given me opportunities to become involved in many different experiences that have prepared me for the real world and shaped me into person i am today. i recently moved from varna to sofia, after living there for five years. sofia is the capital and largest city of bulgaria. i have only lived here for a couple of weeks, but so far, i have been very impressed. founded thousands of years ago, today the city continues to develop as the country's cultural and economic center. in my free time i like to practice yoga. it helps me release the stress of my week and refocus on my mind and body. i have learned that even small movements can pay big dividends when you do them daily. yoga helps me to lead the life. i love to travel and meet new people to share experience with from all over the world no matter their social positions. i passionately believe people deserve to be respected and should have their own rights acknowledged, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, class, etc. i also prefer to know new people in virtual world because we can talk freely regardless of positions in life, and so on and i may have difficulties in doing it in the real world. sometimes i feel nervous because i want to make a good impression on people at first time. first impression is the most important and that usually stays forever. sometimes it is a little annoying and makes me feel uncomfortable or even less confident. i have just started using italki because i want to speak english fluently. this system offer fantastic opportunities to communicate with and get feedback from others. it would be very nice if you could correct any mistakes in my writing. let's be friends!
