I would not go for this option unless you are chosing external numbering range for your PO Document Type. If the internal number range has been defined for your PO Document Type in configuration, then it is impossible for you to make any 'advance reservation' for your Emergency PO transactions. Besides, I don't really see the actual linkage between the approval consistency, the PR release strategy and the emergency transactions. If you have set up the PR release strategy, then it should be applicable for both normal and emergency PRs and both types of PRs can be well converted into PO without any problem.Cheers,HT

If you are on 4.6x and above, then you can just go to the Item Details delivery schedule tab and add the requisition to an existing line item (if its the same material) or to a new line item.
