The Spring Festival is my favourite. It iis one of the most important holidays for the Chinese people. It usually comes in January or Febrary. when it comes, people usually go home to celebrate it. There are many traditional activities to celebrate it, such as to do a cleaning, to paste handwitten couplets, to conduct Yangge dance and lion dance and so on. The festival lasts for 15 days. During the festival I can always get red pocket money from my parents and relatives for good luck. I can visit relatives and friends during Spring Festival and I can also set off the firework. So I like Spring Festival best.

My favorite festival is New Year’s Day.Because I don’t have to go to school.I usually spend two hours on my homework and then enjoy myself. On New Year’s Day morning,my mother goes to buy new clothes for us. I can also do whatever I want, such as surfing the internet, reading interesting books, visiting my grandparents and having a big meal and so on. So I like New Years Day best.
