The traffic jam was a new word for many Chinese twenty years ago. People usally tended to think about cities like Tokyo, New York and Luodon. No one has predicted that it could be a headache for many Chinese cities in the twenty first century. If you listen to the news it will not be rare to learn that hundreds of cars and vehicles are stuck in the traffic for hours. It is also not rare to learn a news that hundreds of cars are involved in a tailgating accident. How have we reached today's situation? The reason is simple: we have far more cars than before because cars are affordable to many of us. What we can do about the situation? The answer is also simple, try to avoid buying cars and use public traffic. Some people many complain about the poor quality of the public services. It is true to certain extent. But if more and more people use the public traffic, it will definitly cause the attention of our government and improvement will be there sooner or later. High speed railway service is a good example for this angument.
