Some Personal Opinions on Journey
When it comes to journeys, the way of transport I prefer is to take a plane. Perhaps there are some inevitable disadvantages, such as the rather high fare; however, it will definitely save your time while at the same time making you more comfortable.
There's one particular thing I'd love to do before actually setting out on my journey: to make a travelling plan, which means selecting the ideal routes and making sure that your schedule should flow smoothly in the near future. Ever since I graduated from the college, I have determined to persuade myself into making such a clear plan that is essential for every trip because my past experiences have proved that there were millions of shortcomings in not doing so beforehand.
Another habit deserving to be mentioned is to keep journals during the journey. In the past, I strongly resented the idea of writing travelling journals; in fact, I was simply too stubborn to write even a single word during the entire journey! However, later I gradually changed my mind since I started to discover endless funs in doing so. Well, you can also say that I've finally given in to the reminiscence, since it was really fascinating to keep something that records the happy past. When actually writing the journals on my journey, I never care about how to organize the languages or illustrate the details; actually, I simply set down some personal feelings and attitudes as well as the sources of all these emotions. Believe it or not, as time passes, I even feel like being quite fond of such a habit; and, moreover, I consider it as a significant part of my journey!
My recent unforgettable experience was to climb a magnificent mountain located at a very high altitude, while taking my friends for company. At first it seemed impossible for us to reach the top; however, we made up our minds to conquer it, and eventually, with great efforts, we succeeded. Only when we arrived at the summit could we appreciate what a gorgeous panorama extended in front of our sights: glittering glaciers,surging rapids,majestic waterfalls, and unfathomable valleys... With heavy travelling parcel on my back, I walked at a slow pace to carefully appreciate all these wonders. Sometimes it was I who even bent over the awesome cliffs to take a view of the scenery beneath! Well, that scared my friends indeed, and they thought that I was rather stupid to do so; however, I am quite a brave guy eager to take risks. As a matter of fact, just as usual, for this somehow dangerous trip I even didn't have the slightest idea of buying me an insurance beforehand. Deep in my heart, the courage turns out to be the most reliable thing for an adventurous traveller. At mid-night, we found a cosy cave adjacent to a deserted temple halfway up the mountain, and decided to spend the night there. We used our parcels as the pillows and made a bonfire nearby to protect ourselves from any possible beasts. The dancing flame sent out comfortable warmth, which brought me into sound sleep very soon.
