My friend has an appearance that maches her english name: strawberry. She is a little plump in shape, with pink complexion and a tint of rose on her cheeks. On the whole, she just looks like a large juicy strawberry to me, although I cannot eat her.

We had known each other since we were in kindergarten, and had been intimate friends since then. As our parents are both close friends and neighbours, we meet each other quite often. As little kids, we used to run on the patches of grass beneath our block or rolled in the sand, making us looking like mud balls. Our families used to have dinner together at either her or my house. After dinner, we would run along the corridors, our laughters filling the air. Technicaly, we were always together except for when we went to bed.

We went to the same primary school/elementary school and then the same secondary school/high school. Every morning, at the first shaft of sunshine, we would head to school together. Every dusk, when the sun coloured the clouds to a bright flame colour, we would return home together. We studied together, had fun together, and even got into trouble together.

As is the saying: childhood friendship lasts long. Despite us having already grown to teenagers now, she is still my friend and I hope will always be.

My friend and I Jiamin is my good friend. He studies at a High school and he is a strong athlete. He often gets the match’s winner. But now he is thinner than before, I am worried about him. Sometimes he late for school, sometimes he sleeps in class, sometimes he can’t hand in his homework and he can’t do well in class. His mother tells me: He always goes to bed later than her. What’s wrong with Jiamin? Jiamin has a new computer, I think he plays computer games too much. What advice should I give Jiamin? These are my advicies: Jiamin should get up early. Jiamin should get to school on time. Jiamin should hand in his homework on time. Jiamin shouldn’t play computer games too much. Jiamin should take more exercise. Jiamin should go to bed early. Jiamin should finish his homework. Jiamin should do well in class.
