so 英文发音

so在美语里面是不是不发 s?u 的音？我在一篇短文里面听出来，它好像发 /bu/这个音，请高人指点一下。

我在听老托福的听力，里面有个句子，含SO,可是怎么也听不出SOU的音呢？没有其他的变音现象吗？

应该是念sou,一般都这么发音
