As freshmen, a group of girls and me join in the military training and we belong to Company 9, Group 8, the only girls' group in our Company 9.

I used to think the military tutors hardened to the pain we got during the training, but my military tutor is not harsh at all.Frankly speaking, he didn't impress us deeply when we first met.We didn't think hime handsome at first sight.(Sometimes, a not-bad looking of a military tutor can help a lot during a military training, especially in girls' group. Hee,hee) . However, later our eyes can't help resting on him most of the time. I dont' mean that we all lose our hearts to him. we just like him very much. He always smiles and is always considerate.He is just like an elder brother to us. He and us came into harmony soon.

Unlike other tutors, he gives us plenty of time to rest in each training class.Despite the less time we spend on training, we always do far better than other groups in our company, which are full of boys.We learn things faster than them, and we alsays finish our tasks ahead of time. However, something went wrong one day ----We girls did a bad job in training that morning and we were indisciplined . OUr tutor tried some new methods, but unfortunately, none of them worked. He then stood there, lost in thoughts. Later, he said to us in low voice:" First, it's my fault. ` More haste, less speed ` I shouldn't have taught you so many things in such a short time.Second, you shoud coordinate your attitude.Yeah, we do learn very fast,but don't be proud. If you won't change your attitude, the training will be meaningless!" You might think he was blaming us, but on his face, there was not a particle of complain expression! You know, most of the tiem, frank talking words better than severe critisisn.And I think our tutor has mastered this teaching skill.

Never can I forget that evening when there was a birthday party for those who were born in September. I was hurt by a flying football and went back to my dorm earlier. The military tutor was not on the spot at that time. Later that evening, he came to see me, dressing in slack suit. However, I was then in the bathroom, so we didn't meet. The next morning, he apologized to me and other girls in our group about not being there when I was hurt and not joining in the party. He was still smiling, but in his eyes, his sorrow showed. We were all puzzled. Later we learned that his beautiful girlfriend parted him on that very night. He dressed in dishabille because he had just had a date with her. And it was zt the very date that he and his girlfriend said"goodbye".In spite of his sadness, he came back to our school soon after the date and went to see me soon after he learned of the news. All of uswere speechless then.

It is said that our military tutor may leave us because he is given a new task.And you know, even if he is not going, the military is coming to its end. I think we all are going to miss him!
