Two friends were walking through the desert.At one point,they had an argument,and the first friend slapped the other in the face.The other friend was hurt,but quietly he wrote in the sand:"Today my best friend slapped me in the face" they kept walking,until they found an oasis,There they decided to cool off and swim.The other friend started drowning,but his friend saved him.After he recovered from the near drowning,he wrote on a stone:"Today my best friend saved my life" The friend,who had both slapped and saved his best friend ,asked him,"After I hurt you,you wrote in the sand,and now,you write on a stone,why?"The other friend replied:"When someone hurts us,we should write it down in sand,where the winds of time and forgiveness can erase it.But when someone does something good for us,we must engrave it in stone,where no wind can ever erase it." 两个朋友穿行在沙漠中。在某个时刻，他们争吵起来，第一个朋友打了另外一个朋友一个耳光。这第二个朋友受到伤害，但他默默地在沙地上写下：“今天我最好的朋友打了我一个耳光” 他们继续往前走，直到发现了一片绿洲。他们决定凉快一番游游泳。第二个朋友溺水了，但他的朋友救了他。他从濒临溺毙中苏醒过来后，在一块石头上写下：“今天我最好的朋友救了我” 那位先打了自己最好的朋友、后来又救了他的人问道：“我伤害了你之后，你在沙地上写了一句话，而现在你在石头上又写了一句话，为什么？” 他的朋友回答：“当某人伤害我们时，我们应该将其写在沙地上，时间和宽恕的清风会把它吹走。但是对于有恩于我们的人，我们应将其铭刻在石头上，什么风也无法把它吹走。”
