That tme of year thou mayst in me behold

When yellow leaves,or none,or few ,do hang

Upon those boughs which shake against the cold,

Bare ruined choirs where late the sweet birds sang.

In me thou see’st the twilight of such day

As after sunset fadeth in the west,

Which by and by black night doth take away.

Death’s second self,that seals up all in sest

In me thou see’st the glowing og such fire,

That on the ashes of hie youth doth lie

As the deathbed whereon it must expire,

Consumed with that which it was nourished by

This thou perceivest which makes thy love more srong,

To love that well which thou must leave ere long.

也许你会在我身上看见时光的裂痕，

当黄叶或落尽，或剩几片，

悬挂在树上，在秋风中颤悸。

毁损荒颓的唱诗坛曾有开的鸟儿歌唱，

在我身上你也许会看见暮色苍茫，

日落西山后它渐渐退去，

不久之后被黑夜带远，

死亡的侍从将一切安息之物密闭，

在我身上你也许看见火焰

而今它在青春的灰烬中沉睡，

有朝一日会在死亡之床上停止呼吸，

那曾经滋养过的也会将它消费，

认识到这点你的爱会更加强烈，
