Who should take care of the old?

Our country is marching into an aging society. Take care of the old is important problem at present. So, who should look after them?

Many people think that the government should take care of the old man, like the home for the elderly. Because the elderly work and service the society in their whole life, and they can life with same older man.

Other people, however, don’t think so. They feel that the children are responsible for their parents the reason that filial respect is every filial duty. It isn’t an easy thing to bring up to them.

Personally, I think that the second proposal is more creditable. The parents can live with their children and get a loving home. Like this, they can spend happily old age.
