英文一向是用 on the weekend, 美文就用at the weekend. 究其实是同一意义如牛津字典的例句便有说明 ：
at weekends
at the weekend = on the weekend= over the weekend
at the weekend ----> British usage
on the weekend ----> American usage

用 on weekend 或 at weekend都可以。
用at 还是用on, 那只是英式英语跟美式英语的区别，英国习惯用at, 而美国习惯使用on。
