GO ON 汉语意思就是继续啦
GO ON TO DO 就是放下手头的事去做另外一件事,
eg. after he finished his homework, he went on to learn English.
而GO ON DOING 就是继续做同一件事
eg. after resting for a few minutes, he went on doing his homework.
go on with sth 意思和go on doing 一样。
