Mother's Day It was Mother's day yesterday,but I have no one to call. Mother passed away last dec.23rd. She left me forever and for long! I dared not to think about the fact because I will feel heart-broken whenever I think about her. I can't belive that mother really left me for heaven to join grandma who was aslo away on Dec.23rd of year 2000. They were both my beloved. They were just countryside woman,but they were great. They both were born for the family,for their husbands and their children as well as others but themsleves. I said this because both would do everything on thinking of others 1st. and never thought about themselves. Even laying in bed in the ward mother was telling us with very low and weak voice: give your dady an orange! She had been looking after father all the time konwing every kind of food father liked. She would work as man while in production team period before 1980th. We kids seldom saw her in the morning because she went to the field already when we woke up. Grandma looked after us at home cooking and sewing but mother was working all the time in the fields. She did all kinds of farm-work and worked longer than man. She suffered from diabetes in 1990th and the disease accompaied her all rest of her life. I managed to buy her special medicine made abroad and later on China-made medicine. But in the countryside in early days she never realised how serious the disease was. She would take medicine when she felt weak and uncomfortable. Until 1999 I tried to pursuade her to take medicine as routine for this special disease which will never be away from medicine. During the Spring Festival she was attacked by heart attack resulted from diabetes. We didn't realise the seriousness of the disease. I was busy with decoration of our new house thinking and talking to mother I would bring her to QD to live with me so that she can have better living and treating condition. Who knew that she was attacked by heart attack Dec.10th last year and sent to hospital. Never never she was able to come back home alive. She stayed in hospital for 14 days and was taken away by God! My two younger sisters and sister in law, my younger brother,my husband and I were all there beside her at the terrible moment seeing mother going away from the world in less than 2 hours. Doctors and nures were trying their best but hopeless. Until that moment I even didn't realise mother would leave us forever! Maybe because she was mother and inside my heart I was thinking that the doctor would cure her and save her because I told the doctor that we would spend money no matter how much . Never did I realise money sometimes is useless. No wonder Doctor Bai was asking me : you think it is the problem of stomach? Once I ask her how mother's case like because mother had a problem with her stomack once every 2-3 days.Later on when my husband came all the way from Qingdao and he thought that the blood tube inside her stomach may be blocked when heart attack happened.That's why she volmitted seriously at the very beginning period. However mother left me and went to join grandma in another world. I love mother , grandma. They were both commen but great women and influced me a lot on my way of life. I feel better now because I have tried what I could to show my love while they were with me in this world. I feel regretful because I could do better and give them more but it was too late now.Please love your beloved and share your love with them. We live in this world only once and time is too short .
