This summer,I paid a visit in my hometown.What had made.me really sad was that it had changed a lot .In past. my hometown was very beautiful.with small river run through the village.tall and straight trees,beautiful flowers and green grass could be seeing everywhere.Nowadays,therefore,with the development of modern society,people are living a “happy”life.Many tall buildings are found on both sides of the river,so the river has been badly polluted as waste water runs directly into it and there is now few fish swimming in it. It was time to take measures to protect our living environment.
