OA是A，我想问一下C为什么不对 extended和spawned平行不对吗？

OA是D，看起来好别扭啊(a large staff,巨大的员工？）。我选的是C，vast amounts of 和numbers of 对称， money 和staff members对称，多标准啊，为什么不对？

1、staff作名词是全体员工、成员的总称，作动词是为...分派配置员工，显然这里是分配的意思，必须用动词的意义，所以用了动名词。另外，前面的from用了assignment（任务分配），虽然是名词但表现的显然是一种动作，to后面当然也要跟动作的意思；

2、分词的平行对称中，不是过去分词必须对过去分词，现在分词对现在分词；过去分词与现在分词也算对称！这个特别要注意！这里，extend 是 fungus主动发出的动作，所以要用现在分词；

3、staff如第一题，是全体员工的意思。所以a large staff 就是“庞大的阵容”的意思，这是非常常见的说法。numbers of staff members 这种说法是很罗嗦的，肯定不对。关于对称，这里是money和staff对称，没问题的。

根据你的问题，我给你两点建议：
1、你的单词量还需要提高；
2、你的语感不是很熟，建议多进行英文阅读，例如纽约时报啥的，会对你有帮助的。

我的仅做参考哦 ：） 1. staff是名词，如果是staff of shifts就是名词形容名词了，staffing就是动词了。前面是duty assigments是一个动作，staffing of shifts也是动作。所以就平行了。 2. extending用在这里就是它还是持续的一个动作，这个fungus还在延伸生长中，它还没有死。它的确是1000年前就开始生长的，然后科学家近期发现它的存在，可是它还是alive的，所以是extending. 注意前面a giant fungus that IS an...... And extending。is....extending. 3.我刚才也答错了。现在分析一下。我觉得是这样的。vast 和large分别用来修饰money和staff member.所以就平行了。
