官方解释：副词（Adverb）是指在句子中表示行为或状态特征的词，用以修饰动词、形容词、其他副词或全句，表示时间、地点、程度、方式等概念。副词可分为：时间副词、频率副词、地点副词、方式副词、程度副词、疑问副词、连接副词、关系副词、表顺序的副词。

我的感觉：副词大多是用于形容的词，不像形容词那么静缓，他多是与动态相适应的。比如吃地快，就是 eat fastly。形容词是“的”，红色的帽子中的“红色”就是形容词，副词就是“地”，我吃地很快中的“很快”就是副词。除了常规的副词，其余的就是很多表示时间，疑问，连接等等方面的副词了，百度有很多例子：
时间频率副词
