用英文回答。 要有自己的思路,100单词左右。 我怎么想都想不出这么多字

a) I- has a complete outer shell. It loses one outer electron to become I, and the radius decreases. I loses another electron to become I+, the radius decreases even more.
b) Ca2+ has a larger radius than Mg2+, and Mg2+ larger than Be2+, because they belong to the same group, and they have equal charges, Ca2+ has more protons and electrons than Mg2+, and Be2+ even fewer.
c) Fe, Fe2+ and Fe3+ are variations of Fe, they have equal numbers of protons, so the smaller the number of electrons, the more attraction the outer shell feels, hence smaller radius. Therefore Fe is larger than Fe2+, and Fe2+ is in turn larger than Fe3+
