do youthink compromise is always a good way to settle disagreements?

i don't think comprmise is always a good way to settle disagreements. whether to compromise when facing disagreement,it depends on what we are talking about. if it is an unimportant issue, i'd like to compromise to make the people around me happy,for example, if my classmates and i want to watch movie, but our opinions are different as to which one to choose, in such situation, i think compromise is not a bad idea,on the contrary it is a wise tactics to get along with friends. but on some occasions, compromise is not a good way. when the things are quite important which go against your principle or go againt the social moral, you have to persist your position and make no compromise. so even though compromise is sometimes a good way to setle disagreement, it is not a universal way to solve disagreement
