An African American artist that has caught my heart recently is one that was deceased 14 years ago from today, but stilled remembered by many. Rapper Tupac Shakur came to me in the chinese MTV programm(咋知道他的自己写), his voice ripped through my mind like sunlight through clouds, for the duration of the song i felt like i was in heaven, the lyrics were sensational and nourished my heart. The song I heard was 'Hold on, Be strong', the chorus kept ringing in my ears, 'Hold on be strong, hold on be strong, hold on be strong when it's on it's on' and from that moment on wards, i had no more fear of the oncoming Gao Kao, held my ground whenever there's a academic problem getting in my way, and strived to be the man i am today.

Now Tupac Shakur was a man raised by ganglords and criminals, also lived under the influence of the black america racism and struggles, yet his mind stays pure, and construct powerful and deep lyrics that make not only fellow rappers envy and respect him, but also common and educated citizens. Some say he was a poet, some say he was a kind activist, even a wide scale leader in the making like Martin Luther King or Malcom X, but in my head, tupac shakur will always be an angel, sent from above to guide my ways.

You think that I'm a pretty spoilt person, seeing someone that has been in and out of jail a huge number of times as an anegl, but i say, judge not a book from it's cover, judge not by who they are, but who they could be. If everyone does this, our friends and classmates around the school can have lots more opportunity, lots more fun and live happy. Thank You
