前面as far as ... be concerned 有1.对于。。。来说；2.据。。。所知，这两层常用意思。
as far as 可以表示：达到。。。那么远，例如he can run as far as 5 miles.在这个时候，可以用so far as 替换。
但是，当far表示尽。。。所能的时候，不可以用so 替换第一个as。
例如I'll do my utmost to help you as far as I can.
如果表示让步，so far as 可能更常用一些，但用as也对。例如：so far as I can see，your idea is admirable.

as far as 和' so far as' 这两个短语之间的用法差异.
用于指距离，表示“直到……为止”之意时，as far as既可用于肯定句，也可用于否定句，但so far as只能用于否定句中。例如：We went as far as Lion Rock Tunnel. 我们一直走到狮子山隧道公路那儿。
They did not go as far as the others. 他们没有像其他的人走得那么远。
