To Install:
(1) Clean the caliper thoroughly.
(2) Check the brake disc for damage and cracks.
(3) Install the pad retainers.
(4) Apply Dow Corning Molykote M77 grease (P/N 08798-9010) or equivalent to pad sides of the pad shims and the back of the pads.
(5) Install the piston so that the caliper will fit over the pads.
(6) Push in the piston so that the caliper will fit over the pads.
(7) Check the brake fluid level.
(8) Hold the pads on both sides firmly with your fingers, and install the new pad springs on the pads.
(9) Holding the pads, set the caliper over the pads by pivoting it down slowly.
(10) Pivot the caliper down into position.
(11) Install the flange bolt and tighten it to the specified torque.
(12) Press the brake pedal several times to make sure the brakes work and then take the vehicle for a test drive.
(13) Check for leaks at hose and line joints or connections.
