"No,"said Kate.
"If I'm not in China and I'm not in Paris,"Evans said,"then I must be somewhere (else).Right?"
"Right,"said Kate,"You must be somewhere else."
"Exactly,"said Evans,"And if I'm somewhere else I can't be here,(can) I Twenty dollars,please."
"That's very clever,Evans,"Kate said,"But I can't give you twenty dollars."
"Why not?"asked Evans,"We had a bet."
"(Certainly)we had a bet,"Kate said,"but how can I give you twenty dollars (if) you're not here?"
