援引澳洲移民局官网上的话：
On 18 April 2017, the Hon Malcolm Turnbull MP, Prime  Minister of Australia and the Hon Peter Dutton MP, Minister for Immigration and  Border Protection jointly announced that the Temporary Work (Skilled) visa (subclass 457 visa) will be abolished and replaced  with the completely new Temporary Skill Shortage (TSS) visa in March 2018 which will support businesses in addressing genuine skill shortages.
也就是说，2017年的4月18日，457被宣布将被废止，而一个新的签证将会取代它在2018年3月。
继续援引澳洲移民局官网上的话：
The TSS visa programme will be comprised of a Short-Term stream of up to two years and a Medium-Term stream of up to four years and will support businesses in addressing genuine skill shortages in their workforce and  will contain a number of safeguards which prioritise Australian workers.
four years after it is granted – if your occupation is listed on the Combined list of eligible skilled occupations or this period is required due to international trade obligations；two years after it is granted – if your occupation is not listed on the MLTSSL.
如果被担保的职业在长期紧缺职业列表里，那么就是能拿到一个四年的临时工作签证，否则就是两年。
以前的457转186/187已经不见了。
